Community Creations
I’m excited to share that my storage boxes system has sparked creativity among many individuals. They’ve designed solutions that not only utilize these boxes but also enhance the entire system. This page showcases a curated selection of these community creations.
If you’ve developed a project that synergizes with this system and would like to see it featured here, please feel free to reach out with a message detailing your creation. I’m always eager to see new innovations!
Box for Boxes from “JWR”
JWR has crafted a parametric grid-based storage solution that’s both innovative and practical, ideal for organizing and transporting small items. This design is a perfect fit for my storage boxes, accommodating various sizes with a maximum capacity of 4x3 on the Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer bed. It features robust, tight-fitting clips, making it excellent for safely carrying small components like screws. You’ll need six M3x20 machine screws and M3 hex nuts for assembly. JWR has also recently expanded the design to include a 4x4 size, although it’s not suitable for a Prusa MK3 bed.
Box For Stackable Storage Box from “floriandac”
floriandac introduces a sturdy box design, engineered to securely accommodate and protect the storage boxes from my system. The design ensures that contents stay in place, even under vigorous movement. It features a well-fitting lid that directly contacts the tops of the internal boxes, sealing with an easy push. This grid can hold sizes up to 4x3 and a maximum height of 3x2x2, accommodating two 1x1 stackable boxes. The assembly requires six M3x30mm screws, and while a sealing gasket isn’t mandatory, TPU can be used for additional sealing. floriandac welcomes requests for alternate sizes in the project comments.

Bin for Bench Dogs
Jim has crafted a unique insert to neatly store and arrange 20mm Bench Dogs in a bin measuring 2U x 4U. In terms of the design specifics, the organizer plate is designed to fit perfectly into a 2U x 4U bin, which translates to dimensions of 120mm by 240mm. Jim provides an STL file for a slightly altered version of the bin, which omits the label mounting area found in the original design. However, this modification is optional, as the insert is also compatible with the unaltered bin design.
